WHEN THE LOCKDOWN INTRODUCED ME TO THE UNKNOWN ROOM IN MY HOUSE

Like every ordinary indian houses, in my house also there are bedrooms, washrooms, kitchen, lobby, store room, balcony & drawing room. I am very much familiar with all the rooms of my house except for 1......THE DRAWING ROOM.

My entire 24hours were spent in all the above mentioned room but you know what, one room always felt neglected ie my drawing room. You can very well imagine the extent of neglect the room must b going through. The rating of ignorance can be gauged by the zero knowledge of even the basics, that which electrical switch is for ceiling fan & which 1 for lights.

The lockdown proved to be a golden period where we both get to know each other better. I and the drawing room were almost spending more time in each other's company that I was spending with my wife..right from morning 1000hrs to 2000hrs....Now I not only hold PHD in recognizing respective switches for 06 led lights & 02 ceiling fans, but also know the hide outs for mosquitos.

In the end, the room most neglected proved to be my saviour. All my business activities, attending online seminars & webinars were courtesy to the silence & disturbance free environment of that very much room. I just had to adapt to the room.

Friends the moral of the story is WE HUMANS SHOULD MAKE OURSELVES ADAPTABLE TO CHANGES.......RIGHT FROM YOUR BIRTH TILL DATE WE ARE NOT ONLY STRUGGLING EACH DAY BUT ALSO WINNING AGAINST THESE ODDS, AREN'T WE?? SO THIS TOO SHALL PASS.....KEEP CALM & ADAPT TO THIS CHANGE.
